He further said, “Shammi Kapoor told me that we will get married at Banganga temple at midnight like he had done with Geeta in the year 1955, but I told him that we will get married in the presence of the family”. On 27 January 1969, Shammi Kapoor married Neela Devi for the second time. According to the news, Shammi had put a condition before marrying Neela. She had said that she would never become a mother and would raise her children as her own. Neela obeyed Shammi Kapoor and never became a mother.
